5 Ways to Deal With the Dreaded Vinyl Wall Panels in Mobile Homes

The biggest complaint for many camper owners is often concerning the notorious vinyl wall panels in their homes. Every model making gave the impression to have tried them between 1980-2000. Each company used their unique special logo and some have that plastic looking coating and several don't. Colors and patterns vary drastically. All possess the seams with the strips or battens that "connect" the panels and nobody really knows how you can update them, as yet. Here is the 5 ways to handle those pesky walls:

Remove the strips, mud the seams, sand and paint. This is not basic and not fun. If you are a perfectionist don't even test it. You will never satisfy your mud texture towards the walls however you will get really close. If your walls have a texture, you don't need to work so desperately. If your walls are smooth your gonna must work on it. It will look great whenever you do match closely though.
Strip the paper. Not easy nor fun rather than highly recommended. This is for the walls that hold the very fine layer of paper attached. If it is easily pulled down in small strips and also you view a smooth wall underneath this can be a great selection for you. If your lucky enough to have this type, just start peeling.
